3D VISSIM models of roundabouts

Ourston Roundabout Engineering uses VISSIM, a leading microscopic simulation program, to model traffic flow at roundabouts. We then combine these simulations with custom backgrounds and captions to produce videos that are used in public education and outreach.

	Lincoln, Nebraska The City of Lincoln had asked Ourston to complete a simulation of a high-capacity roundabout. The City was hesitant to implement a roundabout with three lane entries, and requested a visual animation of how the roundabout would operate.
